Who Are We And What We Stand For?

The East Parry Sound Literacy Council supports the vision of a community in which individuals and organizations work together to promote the optimal development of all its members.

Mission Statement

The mission of the East Parry Sound Literacy Council is to foster the development of literacy, numeracy, problem solving, critical thinking and living skills that are necessary for success in all areas of life. The Council pursues this mission within a broad understanding of human development and life-long learning, and through the integration of services with other organizations with which it shares clients.

Who Do We Offer Help To?

Our programs are designed for adults from 19 years of age and out of school who want to improve their:

Employment opportunities

Academic skills

Self-management skills

Self-direction skills
